G'day all. Sarah and I infront of the Arc de Triomphe. The Arc was commissioned by Napolean as a memorial to the Great Army and was completed in 1836. It's just amazing to think that we were standing in the same space as Napolean did over 200 years ago. In fact I found it quite difficult to absorb this fact for many of the monuments we saw during our travels.
