Sarah sent me this photo recently-taken next to the Pompidou Centre in Paris. It used to be the backdrop for a french teaching programme on ABC TV years ago that I "made" Sarah watch when she was but a wee kid!!! Little did she know then that she would be seeing the real thing.

From memory the Pompidou Centre, was the most hideous building I'd ever seen. Then I saw that ridiculously out of place pyramid thingy outside the Louvre & I wasn't so sure! Hope Sarah is still enjoying herself.
